Léna Alvino is originally from Switzerland, where she began studying ballet at age five and later trained in modern and contemporary dance. After graduating from an arts high school, she moved to San Francisco to join the Alonzo King LINES Ballet Training Program.

She later danced with State Street Ballet’s Professional Track Program in Santa Barbara and taught at Momentum Dance Company. After returning to the Bay Area, Léna has performed with PUSH Dance Company, eMotion Arts, Ramm Dance, The DanceWright Project, and Peninsula Ballet Theatre, where she has danced roles such as Myrta in Giselle, the Rose in The Nutcracker, and Fortuna in Carmina Burana.

Léna currently teaches at Peninsula Ballet Theatre, Petits Pas Studio, and Yes You Can Dance. We're so lucky to have her!
